If I brought you a cloak
    embroidered with stars
        a staff & a crown & a steed
            would you mount it?

If I laid out a carpet
from my veins of bright red
        if I bled & I bled
            would you walk it?

If I sent you a bird
    with a song yet unheard
if it came in a cage
            would you free it?

If I wove silk from corn
if I turned wheat to gold
        would you wrap yourself up?
            Would you count it?

If I gave you a colt
with a horn in his head
would you hold out your hand?
            Would you feed it?

If I cast down my hair
with its stiff strands of grey
        if I unwound the braid
            would you climb it?

If I offered my head
    on a carved wooden plate
if I died, if I'm dead
            would you grieve it?

If I hand you an apple
    from my orchard of hearts
-- it is ripe, it is red --
            will you eat it?

A woman dreams of a house of cedar
and glass. The clocks in this house
all strike a different hour. She hangs
her feathered mask on the wall.

A man stands on a crumbling bridge,
looking down at the river and its city
of stones. He moves toward, then away
from a decision.
The woman no longer eats sugar or salt.
She has carefully folded her pleasures
and stored them away in her dome-topped

The man knows there are unlucky
places, corners where cars collide and business
follows business into failure. The rainforest,
breathing green, creeps toward the clearing
and the red-roofed house.

Thinking about my life for an art journal prompt, I realize – my life used to be full, challenging, in every way. Intellectually, emotionally, physically, aesthetically, spiritually – I pushed myself, I challenged myself, I moved, loved, lost, changed jobs, went into therapy, worked hard, read books, took classes, thought, looked at art, wrote poems …
Getting sick really was like hitting a wall. Hitting it, then being surrounded by it. No way over, around, out. Locked inside. I tried.
The first years, what energy I had went to the house, mostly. Oh, and, therapy at the beginning, thinking the problem was psychological. But no.
Where I used to be busy on all fronts, the illness narrows it down. One thing, one dimension, at a time. For a long time. Small challenges, small tasks, small thoughts.
But along the way, I forgot – or perhaps never noticed – what a truly amazing life I did lead. My life was not boring. I look at it now with some astonishment. If it were someone else, I would be impressed.
I am lucky to be a person who always had a wide internal life, since that is mostly what’s left to me now. I remind myself: treasure that, be grateful for that. Resenting what has been lost is useless. Worse than useless; it is debilitating.

Just like many of us who give credit where it is due and to someone who deserves it
Obama had my support and the support of many of us when he had just assumed power
We looked at him as the American who had the kindred spirit and the American dream
BARRACK.H.OBAMA is now something I abhor in the wake of the TRUTH of what he believes in; HOMOSEXUALITY!
A few years ago I craved to be one of OBAMA’S speech writers; BUT today if you asked me if I still want to do that; this is what I will respond:
A speech to embrace Homosexuality? NO!
I would rather do a “ROMNEY CHECK” into the policies than write such an Ugly speech.
Obama has this to say; “Our journey is not complete until our gay brothers and sisters are treated like anyone else under the law," Obama said. "For if we are truly created equal, then surely the love we commit to one another must be equal as well”

So sick of the blindfold of foolery, I strongly hate that crap.
The scripture is so clear in the book of Romans 1: Vs. 24-32;
Vs.24…Because of this God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.25.They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and created other things rather the creator who is forever praised. Amen.26.Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged their natural relations with women and were inflamed with last for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for perversion.
28. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice.30.They are gossips,slanderers,God-haters,insolent,arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil;theydisobey their Parents;31.they are senseless,faithless,heartless,ruthless.32.Although they know God’s righteous decree to those who do such things is death, they not only continue to do those very things, but also approve of those who do those things.
This is rather a the truth about what has gone topsturvy for everything that initially was right is now gone down the drain
The fore fathers who built the greatest nation on earth have not taken long in the joy and jubilation but rather have begun to grieve so soon;
For a little while we believed there was a new era in the land but hey!!
It is rather the release of pestilence upon the land.
In his dream Martin Luther mentioned of a time when America was gone be the place where good things come and where the best in the land for the rest of the world to cope would be.
What on earth would Uganda, my country, learn from America?
May be: “Doing away with the very worst of the present day insubordination to GOD”
History keeps both records and for this record…in the autobiography of Hussein Barrack Obama we have: “the first American black president who legalized gay rights”
To my greatest surprise he has very quick disciples!!!!!
"Today, President Obama made history with a clear and passionate declaration of the fundamental rights of LGBT Americans, and all Americans," said Allyson Robinson.
Robinson said lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people "expect great progress over the next four years
Rea Carey, executive director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, said in a statement:
"It's now time for the president -- and for all of us -- to finish the job of ensuring that every American gets a fair shake," Carey said. "President Obama has repeatedly shown he is willing to fight for us. We have another four years to keep the momentum going."

A few years ago i sat in contemplation:
how and when i was going to fend through all that was traversing my Life at the time
There came an angel who i believe was heaven sent.
She has answered the beginning of where i wanted to be
AND:I am so clothed in a lot of hope because she has cemented in me a kindred spirit
that believing that the God we serve is a mighty one for he;
"takes care of all of our needs! And worrying just does nothing but make us anxious"

Certain words we miss to hear and when we get chance to hear them, embrace them:
" God wants more than for you to use your adversity for good"
These words are so fresh on my mind and i will hold them unto my heart always
The very moment our minds are set to the notion,SOMEONE CARES ABOUT ME,we rise up every time we fall
It isn't what you have or who you are or where you are or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about it
I am so filled with hope because i believe the foundation in which my hope is built is a strong one;
Hope that is irrevocable, the one he alone gives.
Its not entirely because i read the bible but rather because i have met,in the early part of my Life the wells of hope,I thank you for the Love Diane Stanton.

And once the storm is over, I  will remember how i made it through, how i managed to survive. For i am   sure, whether the storm is really over, one thing is certain when i come out of the storm, I won’t be the same person who walked in.

There is nothing quite like the sting
Of changing for someone
Only to find out
You are still not the person they want
Some spend years
Trying to fit someone Else's Life
In a way that is irreplaceable
Only to be replaced anyway
It such a bitter helplessness
To be willing to give anything
To be willing to give what someone needs
But knowing deep down
You will be:
A person of NO importance

I loved your lies right from the start
Although i was never really fooled
I was more than willing to play a part
In the fantasy world you ruled
Perhaps i loved the lies you told
Because i could lie too.

It was like a secret pass
To escape all that was true
You were the QUEEN of contradiction
I was the KING of Vagary
We had both learned long ago
That lies can set you free
And the lines People try to Draw

Between what is fake and what is real
Is less about some absolute thing
And more about the way you feel
So there was truth in all our lies
And when we set each other free
We never regretted the time we spend laughing our REALITY off!
